Well, these don't come up very often! These experimental lapsteel/amp pair came out in 1951 and lasted a year or two before being forgotten as an evolutionary dead end. But no more, we're here to put the record straight, these were the future of Hawaiian music! To quote the Magnatone publicity of the time: "Revolutionary new tuning bridge eliminates cumbersome geared machine heads. No gears to slip. Positive – Self locking – Strings Stay Put. No arduous tuning sessions before classes or public appearances. Simplified changing of strings.” Well, in truth tuning without gears can be slightly irritating and the changing of strings requires patience. However, it's all worth because this apparatus sounds AMAZING! The thing the copy writer overlooked was that the pole passing the amp and up to the steel provides some really quite etherial feedback, making this the first purely electric instrument designed for feedback. Has to be heard to be believed. Great with regular electric guitar, too.This is almost entirely original down to the guitar lead. I installed a 3 prong earthed cord, hopefully mitigating the risk of receiving a powerful shock between the legs. I also removed the death cap, for similar reasons. The original Jensen Alnico P8T speaker has been re-coned as the original was shot.
Made for US voltage, I will throw in a step down transformer to enable it to run on 240V. I'll also sweeten the deal by throwing in a professional alun key to boot.
TBH, it's really hard to price an item like this as it's utterly unique. I have to believe that there is someone out there who appreciates what a magical piece of musical history this is, and is prepared to compensate for the insane amount of effort and patience it took to restore this to it's current perfect working condition. We shall see!

Great Looking Suit with Lightweight Material

I got this for a beach wedding and it worked out really well. It looked nice without feeling too formal, which was perfect for the setting.
The material is linen and it feels lightweight and breathable. It kept my kid comfortable in the heat and didn’t feel stiff or heavy like some dress suits do.
The appearance is sharp. The double breasted style makes it look more dressed up, but the linen material keeps it relaxed and appropriate for outdoor events.
The fit was true to size. It sat well without looking baggy or tight, and everything stayed in place throughout the event.
Quality feels good for the price. The fabric and stitching don’t feel cheap, and it held up well after a full day of wear.
Suitability is great for things like weddings, parties, or photos. It works especially well for warmer weather because of the material.
For value, I think it’s worth it. You’re getting a nice looking suit with comfortable material that actually works in real situations.
Overall, great fit, breathable material, and a clean look that works really well for events.

Very nice linen suit for boys. Well worth the piece

This JPF Double Breasted Linen Suit for Boys is the cutest thing I've ever seen! I got itt for my 8 year old and he loves it! He tried it on at soon as we received it and wore it all evening. Lol. He looks so grown up! He's about 4'3", about 75lbs. I ordered a size 12 and it fits him the way I'd expect it to. A bit big but he has room to grow into it. It is a 2 piece suit, with pants and blazer only. It's a summer suit, it's meant to have a more laid back, casual style. It is so nice! The style and color are identical to the photo. I got the beige color, that's the color my kid picked. I do worry a bit about staining, considering an 8 year old boy will be wearing it, but hopefully any stains will be easy to remove. The quality is excellent and the price isn't bad either. I highly recommend this suit

A charming summer suit

This suit fit true to size. The light grey wasn’t exactly the same as advertised (see photo), but I still really like it. My son felt snazzy in this suit, and he said it was comfortable to wear.

Nice suit for the price!

This really is a very nice boys suit, especially for the price they are asking. My kids don't wear suits too often, maybe once or twice a year for special occasions so I don't need really expensive suits for them. The material is actually really nice on this. The color looks great and the pieces are sewn nicely. The adjustable waist band is really nice on the pants because my kids are on the slimmer side and this helps with fitting. You can also wear a belt with these if needed. I washed on delicate cycle and dried on delicate cycle a little, then finished by air drying. They washed and dried very nicely with minimal wrinkling. The front pockets are real and useable on these, which isn't always the case with boys suits. Overall would 100% recommend

Nice looking suit that runs big

This is a beautiful light, gray linen suit size 6. It looks high end and it is a baggy fit, not slim.
This suit is double breasted with a satin lining inside. There are two pockets in the jacket and one small smaller pocket for a handkerchief on the jacket. I did order a size 6 but this fits way too big for a size 6 I’m thinking it was more like a seven or an eight.
The pants have a zipper, which moves very easily and 2 pockets. The Pants have belt loops.
Both the the pants and jacket are longer than normal. My son is tall, so I was really surprised that these are so baggy and so long. I would definitely double check the size. there’s no size chart online so maybe I would go one size down.
It does look like a quality made suit. The sizing is just off.
